FAQ

What is blue light??
Blue light, otherwise known as high-energy visible light (HEV), falls right in the middle of the light spectrum, between UV rays and infrared rays. It is emitted by TVs, smartphones, computers, and tablets.

Does HEV light damage skin?
Digital devices emit blue light, which can release free radicals that can cause premature aging in the form of skin damage, increased sensitivity, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.

How to prevent blue light skin damage?
We recommend the Alana Mitchell Environmental Protection Nourishing Cream and using other skincare products with antioxidants, such as green tea, retinol, and vitamin E.
