Oscars Beauty Guide
Here for your Oscars Beauty Guide? I’m not a huge film buff, but I do have tons of opinions on hair, makeup and dresses!! To be honest, I could watch the whole thing on mute and just enjoy the sights. Here were my top 5 favorite beauties with a tips for stealing their Oscar beauty looks.
#1 Emma Stone
Not only do I love her as an actress, I adore her Oscars beauty cat eye! You’ll need a liquid eyeliner and a steady hand. Try Glo Minerals Liquid Liner ($16.50). Start at the middle of your iris and evenly sweep liner to the outer corner of your eye. Extend your line outward and upward past the corner. Have a Q-tip and makeup remover handy for mistakes. Once you have your line perfect, check that both eyes match. Makeup Artist Secret: apply a little powder below the line with a shadow brush to keep it from smudging. #2 Michelle Williams
What I loved most about Michelle’s Oscar beauty look was the fresh twist she gave the classic red lip by going with coral. I think we’ll see a lot more of this in spring. Plus, it allows women who don't do bold red lips to still make their pout the focal point! La Bella Dona Mineral Lip Sheer in Mandrino ($24) is a cheerful pop of coral.
#4 Kristen Wiig
Kristen Wiig proves you don’t have to be super done up to look appropriately stunning for a big event. She kept her Oscars beauty look natural and beautiful with smooth, hydrated skin and a soft color palette. Add luxiourious mositure to your face with Epicuren Ultra Rose Treat Moisturizer. It combines collagen and hydrolized elastin amino acids with natural rose oil.
#5 Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain is one of those celebrities I didn’t recognize instantly but still took my breath away. I’m totally envious of her romantic and sexy look! The trick lies in her flawless skin. Get yours with YoungBlood Liquid Mineral Foundation ($47). Available in tons of colors as well as cream pressed and loose powder.
#5 Viola Davis
So was it just me or did you cry every time someone from The Help was recognized? Hands down my favorite part of the night. This bronzed Oscars beauty looked stunning in her glowing skin and perfect nude lip. Get yours with Tokyo Milk Kiss & Tell Kissing Kit. Comes in a beautiful tube and with a box of mints! Becuase, who cares how good you look if your breath is kicking;)
Ahh…to dream of being an Oscars beauty… Time for me to wake back up to reality and get back to work. If you want more Oscars Beauty and red carpet fashion, check out Marie Claire's blog. Hope you all feel like winners today!
