Get The Perfect “Natural” Look Now!
Have you noticed that big stars are setting a trend with a more natural looking makeup? This seaon, less is more! When I go out, I love to do bold and fun colors and styles. However, this season, I am trying to keep my look minimalistic with a fresh and moist complexion. This spring, your look should be simple and feel effortless. Here are some tips and products that aid in getting that natural flushed face:
- Flawless Face: Get a flawless looking face by first applying a primer, then a foundation, followed by a concealer. After you use the right type of foundation for your skin, only apply the concealer on the spots where you it is absolutely necessary (sun spots, blemishes, etc).
- Blush all Day: Want to know my little secret for perfect cheeks? On your cheeks, combine a bronzer with blush. Try to use a compact that has both available to give your cheeks a natural, flushed look. Using only bronzer can make you look orange and only using blush can look overdone.
- Light up your Eyes: Light up your eyes by using an eye brightener under the eyes. Use this above your eyebrows and on your chin to brighten up your face. This look will give the face a natural glow. My absolute favorite eye brightener is Colorscience’s Pro Eye Brightener. This eye cream is a rich antioxidant that uses Blue Chamomile and Azulene to diminish the appearance of fine lines and puffiness while delivering a brighter, more-lifted look to the eye area.
- Matte look: Skin definitely has a tendency in most of us to get oily, and when it does it shines…but not in a good way. To get rid of the glow, I like to use a matting powder. This powder will help to remove the “shiny” oils from your skin. I use Youngblood’s Hi-Def Mineral Perfecting Powder everyday over my makeup! This is especially good to use during this and next season!
