About Alana

Using her knowledge of the beauty industry and her experience as an esthetician, Alana Mitchell built Skincare by Alana to be of the largest natural retailers of day spa skincare products in the USA - all starting on her laptop in a 70 square foot room! She is honored to host product lines that are truly good for the skin, such as Imagine Skincare, Rhonda Allison, Eminence Organics, and 100% Pure. But Alana didn't stop there. Although she found formulas she enjoyed using, she felt that they could be improved and that something was missing. She decided to start her own line of products, Alana Mitchell skincare, made with hand-picked natural and scientific ingredients. Alana's ultimate goal is to help others look and feel beautiful and to offer prodcuts that actually deliver results. Alana takes an education-based approach to skincare. She wants to help you make the best choices for your skin, rather than push you into trying the latest trends and fads. Through her blog, she gives you the knowledge you need to make informed decisions when it comes to your skin. In her spare time, Alana speaks at local events and educates day spas about marketing. She is happily married and is a mom to two boys. She has compassion for people with special needs as her oldest son has autism. Every April, Skincare by Alana donates procees to Autism Awareness.
