Try cutting your hair when your bangs are wet to help ensure a straight cut. . Wet hair may result in an even shorter cut as your hair will dry and “shrink.”

To begin, take a comb and section off the hair that you don’t want to cut. Make sure the bangs are the only hair left alone.

Now, divide the bangs in half using your comb. Take one section and comb it down until the comb is resting on your brow bone or to the point where you want it to lay on your face.

If you have shorter bangs, try cutting it on a 45-degree angle. You must be careful to not cut your hair in a straight line. Only professionals can cut hair in a straight line. Once you have finished, repeat the steps on the other side.
